In this *very special* episode of everyone's favorite podcast, Joel, Alex, and special guest star Don Johnson (or somebody) discuss the Star Trek films. Topics include Leonard Nimoy's directorial skill, a defense for Star Trek: The Motion Picture, why space whales are great, and Dr. McCoy's brief time living in a hippie commune.
Spot on. Couldn't agree with you guys more about The Motion Picture. An overlooked gem. Undiscovered Country is a really nice cap. I'll always be a TOS guy at heart (it was my first exposure to Trek) but I adore TNG also. Generations and First Contact are both pretty strong - I urge you to watch them again!
