Raise the Titanic (1980) Review

In today's mini-review, Joel looks back at Raise the Titanic, one of the biggest box office bombs of all time. Does the film deserve its notorious reputation? How exactly does one raise a giant ocean liner from the sea floor? Can John Barry's music get any more incredible? Should Richard Jordan's beard have won an Oscar? Watch this review to find out!

  1. Well done! The film definitely has items to enjoy and thanks for shining some light on those. I've always seen it as a good Sunday afternoon flick when you're vegging out on the couch -- if you fall asleep now and then it's ok...just don't miss the raising finale. Kudos also for mentioning Barry's excellent score. A flawed curio of a film but not a total bomb by any means.
